Tibor "Ted" Rubin was a 15 year old prisoner in KZ Mauthausen when the camp was liberated by a unit (D41CAV) of the 11th Armored Division. He later emigrated to the United States, and served in the US Army during with distinction during the Korean War. On September 23, 2005 he was belatedly awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor by President George W. Bush.
